Foliage Baskets

Foliage Baskets – Traditional varieties of tropical foliage which have been cultivated for inside in the winter and outside in the summer.  Long known to purify and improve air quality, indoor plants have the additional benefit of warming and accenting almost any décor.  Inside, these foliage baskets thrive in low light conditions with minimal care.  Outside, the baskets provide vibrant, almost carefree greens for the shade.

Wandering Jew (Tradescantia sps.) –Shade tolerant and easy to propagate from cuttings, the Wandering Jew comes in three different varieties or color: green, purple and green and white striped.  The characteristics which make this plant invasive when planted outdoors are its strengths indoors.  This plants strong vining ability will require occasional pruning to maintain its shape.
